League Format

Divisions

Starting the 2024 season the region will be split into two divisions a Metro division and a Local division. The Metro Division clubs will be held to higher standards of operations. The Metro Division will also require more travel while the Local division will limit travel to its conference.

Season

Local Division:

The Local Division will be split into 2-3 conferences based on geography for 2024 in South Florida. Each conference will be made up of a minimum of 6 clubs. Teams will play a double round-robin so long as there is not more than 8 teams in a conference. The conferences will meet each other in the playoffs. Champions will be promoted to the Metro Division so long as they can meet the minimum standards.

Metro Division:

The Metro Division will be made up of 1 group in 2024 for South Florida with a minimum of 6 clubs. This division will only play a round-robin season and is capped at 8 clubs.

Cups:

National Amateur Cup: All clubs regardless of division are eligible to play in the National Amateur Cup. The Region 3 (Southeast) Tournament will occur the second weekend of June in Greenville, SC. The winner of Region 3 will go onto the National Semi-finals, which will take place in the Chicago Metro area the last week of July. Flights, ground transportation and hotel accommodations will be covered for up to 20 people for the Region 3 Champion for the National Semi/Finals weekend. The Champion of the NAC will take home a cash prize and will qualify for the US Open Cup.

Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup: All club regardless of division will be able to register for the U.S. Open Cup Qualifiers which will take place in the Fall.

NISA Nation Championships: The Metro Division clubs will have the opportunity to play in the NISA Nation Championship Series based on their performance in the league.
